Prescription Distance Glasses

We provide custom-made distance glasses, manufactured by a technician with over 40 years in the optics business.

Lenses

We use plastic lenses of standard refractive index. The lenses used for rimless glasses are made of polycarbonate for added strength. Lenses of higher index can be obtained if requested.

Frames

Our frames are selected with a number of parameters in mind. These are robustness of design, a wide variation of design styles and colours and general quality of build and appearance.

Distance Sunglasses

We can also provide long distance glasses with lens of four tint strengths in grey or brown.

Ordering

  1. Add your FREE frame(s) to the shopping cart and when you have finished shopping, checkout.

  2. Scan and email your prescription to:

    support@onlinereadingglasses.co.uk

    or email a prescription photograph taken by mobile or tablet. Otherwise, post your prescription to:

  3. The glasses are ready usually within 8, so we then email a link to a secure payment form for Credit Card or PayPal payment.

  4. Once payment is received, your glasses are sent to you by recorded delivery.

Our Assurance

  • We guarantee that your distance vision glasses will be made exactly to your optician's prescription. Before our technicians return the goods to us, they check that the glasses produced exactly match your prescription using a focimeter.
  • If you are not entirely satisfied, then we will refund the cost of the prescription glasses in full. See Returns Policy.
